Heidi Wyckoff is a self taught San Francisco artist. She uses nature, technology, science and day to day living as her subject for a broad variety of art media. She specializes in bold simplicity – using her artist’s eye to focus on the subject’s essence. Heidi’s work is displayed throughout the US – from the animation playing in the Smithsonian to the watercolors and mobiles hanging in the homes of her friends, patrons and many admiring owners. As a webmaster at Apple Computer, her design of a website for children was nominated for a People’s Choice Award. Her talents have resulted in many commissions. Formerly an educator at Antioch College in Ohio, Heidi has transformed her skills to lead aspiring artists of all ages to find their talent. She teaches watercolor in private lessons

Heidi encourages all her students to be fearless – to be uninhibited in their expressions and to paint their sense of reality.
